Mish and Rob over at Making It Anywhere just interviewed us for their site. We really love these guys and their writing style, and are very happy that they invited us to shake our brains all over their blog space.
They also write a lot about the business of being a digital nomad, which should be extremely helpful to all you current and aspiring nomads out there. And they make us laugh, which is premium brain crack in our book.
Also, if you ever wanted to know how we’d sound in UK English, they edited it for those wacky spellings. Thanks to them for giving us the opportunity. Y’all can read the interview here. Enjoy!
Uber interview. Spastic twitching commencing while reading.
But seriously though….love the whole networking thing. Glad to see you guys getting more face time. Every bit counts!
Thank you sir! Even though I – like you – am extremely verbose, I just run with things and say what’s on my mind. It turned into a book! This was actually an out-of-the-blue request and we haven’t networked a whole lot. Although I know we should be doing it. It’s not really in my nature to kiss ass and bother people. Which is surprising because I can annoy the hell out of people from time to time. :)
Either way, it’s nice to be on their site. I do quite enjoy their writing and I think it is much different (as is yours) from the typical “digital nomad / travel” blog.
You’ve recommended them three times to me, and they are on my to-read list this weekend. I’ve checked them out a couple of times in the past but never followed along full-time, but now that I’ve significantly reduced my reading (as per our discussion the other day via Skype regarding the state of the travel blogging industry as a whole), I’m looking for better reading :)
The fact that they let you ramble like I know you are prone to do (our curse, as you say lol) speaks volumes :) Kudos, and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into their site more this weekend.
Haha sorry, I didn’t realize I did it three times. Ah well. Third time’s a charm? I’ve found that the blogs I really want to read need to come to my email. Otherwise, I’ll forget to check them, or miss posts, or whatever. Yours, theirs, and a few others get emailed to me and I always try to make it a point to read them during a break.
Ramble!
