Hey all! As noted in my last post, I’m trying to catch up and keep up with our daily lives here in Seville, Spain. You’re not going to find a lot of touristy sights and such, but you can always check all of our Spain posts to see some of those.
So yeah! Here’s a roundup of various photos from this winter, from November through the New Year. Enjoy!
Hanging with our buds at the craft bar and restaurant, Viriato Guevara & Lynch…
Stopping along the river for some morning shots during my run (ugh!)…
We finally made it to the tap room of Cervezas Río Azul, which is way out east in the city. They have a fantastic spot, and Eloy and his crew are doing amazing things for the craft beer scene here.
I made Thai red curry, which I’m very proud of and I could probably make blindfolded by now. :)
Some of the great folks that show up for our Friday Night Social Club sessions at Bier Kraft. (All are always welcome!)
And, Ang always makes treats for FNSC!
Pepe, keeping it fresh…
Pablo!
Yours truly…
Love this nativity scene the staff at Bier Kraft did with beer cans haha…
“Believe in pizza without pineapple…” I just had to take a picture of this guy’s patch!
Some of the great food at Bier Kraft…
Plaza San Lorenzo by night…
Hanging out at Bev’s house with some expats, Jeanne and Victor, who were in town for a while…
Hey, all!
Lexi, always looking like she wants to love Ang and kill me…
I made a Venn diagram for this, you know. =P
As you can see, the source is Science, so it must be irrefutable.
The patio of Bev’s building (which I guess we would call an atrium), which is very traditional of the area…
A quiet Sunday morning in Seville…November is usually rainy season, so we had to rock the umbrellas more than usual.
Dinner at Al Aljibe, one of our favorites in the city…
Late November is Thanksgiving for us Americans, and our friends, Karen and Rich, are always nice enough to invite a bunch of American and non-Americans over to celebrate the holiday, family-style. It’s always appreciated with great love, and the food is always drool-inducing!
Our friend, Olli, was wrapping up his stay in Seville and heading back to Germany. Naturally, we had to get together for some good times before he left to the cold. Love you, man!
The oranges, priming themselves for picking…
Our friend, Ana, was in town from freezing Poland to visit her family, and she made time for us to hang out one evening. Due to lots of places being closed for the holidays, it was back to Guevara & Lynch!
Christmas lights in the street…
Bev made some super-tasty salmon, and I was both pleased and felt healthy after this one!
We went over to Parcería Café near the Feria market, as our buddy, Gil, works there. They are doing some really high-level coffee for this city, which isn’t as common as it should be. Their food is super drool-inducing as well. Huge thanks to Gil, Cata, and Andrés!
Weird Gil, being Weird Gil…
I got this sweet package in the mail from BrewHeart in Germany…super-thanks to Andreas!
Ang made chili. So. Many. Yums.
My sister’s coworker, Jason, and his wife, Maureen, came to town, so you know we had to hang out a bit!
Pepe’s friend, Carine, was passing through town and we chilled for a bit. She’s a puppeteer, so we got to watch her work as well!
Bev made stuffed peppers for Christmas, and we had a great time hanging out on the holiday that none of us typically go crazy about. Ho, ho, ho!
And, there you go!

What a great summation of your life there! Much appreciated! I wish you would name some of the meals you’re eating.
Thanks! Just know that the meals are yummy haha.
